Green Clovers
Happy Friday to you all :) Just a quick post today with my St Patrick day inspired nails. I was going to do a stamping nail art, but changed my mind and did a water marble instead, inspired by My Simple Little Pleasures. It's a very simple water marble to do, but also very effective. It took me some time to sort out what two polishes to use, and after a few tests found the right two.
Sally Hansen Grass Slipper and Maybelline Winter Baby |
Nails painted with two coats of Winter baby, taped and ready to go. After making the rings of polish I just drew four lines into the middle of the polish from the top, bottom, left and right. This makes the clover pattern. I wasn't able to make the clover small enough to fit on my ring finger or pinky, so I still made the design and fitted the best looking section on these nails. Take a look ..
I didn't think green polish suited my skin tone well, but I'm surprised that this shade of green does, and I love them :) What do you think?
Till next time, stay safe and much love..
Oh I think that shade of green is great for your skin tone!! I have the WORST times with yellows and oranges :( Your water marble came out like a pro!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for a lovely comment :) I too find some shade of orange and yellow clash with my skintone, but if I wear them as a part of a rainbow they look fine! xx
DeleteThis looks fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteLove this mani - green looks great on you, really vibrant and graphic. Sick with jealousy over your water marble skills though.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Charlie :) I actualy love this mani. Xx
